Google AdSense is a free tool with which you can publish targeted Google ads on your website(s). This article describes how you can add AdSense to your inCMS website(s).


  1. Create a text file (.txt) with the name "ads.txt". The text file name should be exactly "ads.txt", without any further additions.
  2. Write only one line as text in this file. This is the line given to you by Google: (google.com,  pub-(+meingoogleidentifikation), DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0). Replace (+meingoogleidentifikation) with your own Google Identification number.
  3. In inCMS, go to the Files-menu (on the left). Click on "Upload files" and select the txt-file.
  4. Once you've uploaded the file, you can check if everything has worked well, by entering your website URL followed by "/ads.txt" in your browser.
