The inCMS Chatbot answers visitor questions based on the content of your published website.
Add the Chatbot
- Open the page on which you want to add the Chatbot.
- Click the + symbol.
- Below the SmartElements, select inCMS Chatbot.
- Save the module. The Chatbot icon then appears at the bottom right of the website.
Configure the Chatbot
You can configure the greeting, explanatory text, the Chat call to action, an optional redirect link text and redirect URL, as well as the colour and Chat icon.
Keep the website sitemap current
The Chatbot uses the sitemap to identify the pages of your website and search them for suitable answers. After adding or changing content, log out completely via Abmelden at the top right in inCMS. This writes an up-to-date sitemap.
Afterwards, indexing can take some time, depending on how much text is available on the website. The Chatbot can then use the published website content as the basis for its answers.
